I've seen this DVD film Alien? dozens of times, almost as much as Star Wars, and still scares me. It's scary, and the tension that built the old way, as Hitchcock did. Is afraid of what you do not show. I was just in elementary school when this came out, and my parents will not let me go to it. Finally saw it on video years later and was totally amazed. One of the best science fiction films ever, also one of the best horror movies. I really wish I had seen in the theater. I would say that this is the 2nd best sci-fi series (behind Star Wars). Despite having a different feel of the latest films in the series is still my favorite.

This is one of the best science fiction films ever made. Everything is so carefully constructed and expert so that repeated viewings are as good as the first. In addition, the atmosphere, along with amazing sets, it's real surprise, and few films have managed to create the same unsettling feeling. The story begins with the ship's "Nostromo" wake up earlier than expected. Soon they realize their on-board computer has detected life on a nearby planet and go to investigate. One of them brings a disgust ... ALIEN (!), Which soon becomes an unwanted passenger. The introduction of the creature in the title of the famous scene of chest-burster is a Jolt. Especially if you see after dinner. The music should also be mentioned that moves the story along with unrelenting terror. However, the lack of music in some scenes, it works equally well, and this combination makes for one of the best musical to be put into the film. This Alien? Sci-Fi movie is a classic that spawned a series, which is good in general, and a host of imitations, many of which are so sad. "Alien" was the first and is easily one of the best. 10/10 Rated R: violence, blood and profanity
